Store your power as hot water
Thanks to the E-Switch, the water heater communicates wirelessly with your smart meter. Excess solar power is then stored as hot water in the water heater. This preheated water is ready for future use without additional energy costs.
Reduce energy costs
In a 500 liter AgriHeat Duo, you can store up to 49 kW of energy. To heat 500 liters of water will cost you €4.93 at an electricity rate of €0.25 p/kWh. With the E-Switch, you avoid withdrawal from and delivery to the power grid, saving double. Your benefit with this is €8.50 each time!

E-Switch Agri
New AgriHeat Duovat systems can be equipped with the E-Switch functionality. The smart controller can communicate wirelessly with your smart meter. Excess power is then not delivered back to the grid at expensive prices but stored in your AgriHeat. The Duovat consists of two levels combined in one boiler. The reheater keeps only the top half at 60°C with a small flame. Support can take place through an electric element that stores excess power in the AgriHeat Duo. The bottom half can be used to buffer heat from the sun or from a heat exchanger.
